St John’s College located in Santa Fe New Mexico is a private 4-year liberal arts school educating 365 undergraduates. All students are required to read the Great Books and classes are seminar-style.There are no traditional professors, instead relying on “tutors” who would be tenured professors anywhere else. There is no registration, the daily course of study is mapped out for each student before they set foot on campus. There are no intercollegiate sports, but students can choose from 15 different intramurals.
