ASPIRE Program at St. Joseph University Philadelphia, PA

The Kinney Center ASPIRE Program provides Saint Joseph’s University students who are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), assistance in their transition to college. This program is intended for individuals who have the intellectual, academic and organizational capabilities to succeed as a full-time matriculated student, but require the additional social support necessary to be fully successful. The ASPIRE program includes crisis intervention and prevention, time management strategies, independent living and social skills training and a supported work environment. The Kinney Center acts an intermediary with faculty and residence life, provides academic support and facilitates student mentoring.
