Santa Clara University is a private Jesuit university located in Silicon Valley, California. It is the oldest operating institution of higher learning in California and enrolls 5,229 undergraduates and 3,571 graduate students. The campus is set on 106 suburban acres. The Broncos participate in 17 varsity sports teams in the NCAA Division 1, the WCC and PCSC. Forty-five percent of all students come from out-of-state, and students choose from among 45 majors in three schools and colleges, the College of Arts and Science, The School of Engineering and the School of Business. There are over 125 registered student organizations on campus.
