The Maplebrook Institute for Collegiate and Career Studies, located in Amenia, New York, was established in 1986 as an extension of the pre-vocational training which students received in the Maplebrook Academic Program. Over the years, it has been carefully groomed as a program based on students with an IQ between 70-90 successfully completing the goals and objectives designed to prepare them for integration into today’s world. The Institute for Collegiate and Career Studies student body consists of a balance between young men and women and is reflective of society as a whole. Through small group and individualized instruction, the student will be assisted in reaching his/her academic, social, vocational, and physical potential.
