The College of Wooster is a small, private liberal arts college known for a strong independent study program and individualized experiences for students. One of 40 colleges recognized as a “College that Change(s) Lives,” Wooster is set on 240 acres. The College prides itself on being an unpretentious setting where students make independent judgements, explore their creativity, exhibit excellent project/time management skills, are self-confident and have strong communication skills. All students work with a faculty mentor as seniors to conceive, plan, and execute a capstone project called Independent Study. Wooster students participate in NCAA D3 sports.
