Columbia College, Chicago serves 12,000 students in more than 120 programs as the largest and most diverse, private, nonprofit arts and media college in the US. Emphasis is placed on developing professional grade portfolios over their of course of study, and the students use the city of Chicago as their campus, laboratory and playground. One-third of the student body are from diverse backgrounds, and the most popular programs are Film and Video, Art and Design, and Arts, Entertainment and Media Management.
