Edinboro University of Pennsylvania is a mid-sized, public liberal arts university located in Edinboro, PA, just south of Erie. The main campus is spread over 585 acres and includes a lake, open fields, and many newly renovated buildings. The campus maintains the largest community of resident students with severe disabilities attending college in PA and one of the largest in the US. Edinboro also has the beta chapter of Delta Alpha Pi, a national honors society for students with disabilities. Edinboro participates in NCAA DII sports, intramurals, and an outstanding wheelchair basketball team, as well as a power wheelchair soccer team.
