Georgetown University is a private research university located in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington D.C. It is the oldest Catholic university in North America and is home to 7,433 undergraduate and 5,455 postgraduate students. The University’s students come from all 50 states and more than 120 countries, as well as from a variety of religious, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Georgetown’s main campus is home to dozens of student groups, including the oldest student theater group, and the largest student-run business in the United States.
