Marquette is a private, Catholic University located in Wisconsin’s largest city, Milwaukee. There are approximately 11,800 undergraduate and 3,700 graduate students enrolled. Marquette is one of the largest Jesuit universities in the United States and the largest private university in Wisconsin. Marquette is located on a 93-acre campus in the near downtown Milwaukee neighborhood of University Hill, on the former Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. Lake Michigan is roughly one mile east of the edge of campus.
