Miami University is often informally known as Miami of Ohio. It is located in the town of Oxford, Ohio, near the Indiana/Ohio border.There are approximately 14,500 undergraduate students. The teacher to student ratio is 17:1. Students are active in both Greek life and Division 1 athletics as well as numerous student organizations.
