Michigan Tech is a public research university located on 925 acres in Houghton, MI. Home to 7,034 students, Tech offers majors in arts, humanities and social sciences, business and economics, computing, engineering, forestry and environmental sciences, and the natural and physical sciences. The Huskies participate in 12 men’s and women’s varsity sports and are especially strong in men’s ice hockey. Students have many student organizations to choose from, as well as a wide variety of outdoor hiking, biking, and water activities.
