The University of Delaware is a mid-sized, privately chartered, research university located in Newark, Delaware, with branch campuses in 4 other locations. Serving a student body of 16,000 undergraduates and 3,500 graduate students, the 2,311-acre campus is funded through public funds as a land, sea, and urban grant school. The University is organized into 7 colleges, offers majors in 130 areas, and features a variety of interdisciplinary programs.
