The University of Massachusetts Ahmerst is a large, public research school and is the flagship campus for the state. UMass is home to 20,873 undergraduates and 6,143 graduate students who choose from among 86 bachelor’s degree programs in 8 schools and colleges. There are over 200 student run organizations on campus, and students compete in NCAA DI sports, club sports and intramurals.
