The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a large, public research university which is the flagship of the North Carolina system. Home to 18,579 undergraduates and 10,811 graduate students, the campus is set on 729 acres. Students participate in more than 600 clubs and organizations as well as NCAA D1 sports, club sports and intramural sports.
